How to use the course
There are two ways to use Technodiversity :
- All contents of Technodiversity are freely available to everyone at any time. The teaching modules and the glossary can be read like an e-book, the video films are published on YouTube. A short version of the modules can be downloaded as a PDF. And free PowerPoint graphics are provided for those who wish to experiment further with the models.
- But Technodiversity is also designed as a teaching module at master’s level. Students at any universities can register for an exam. The exam can be made on two days a year. If they successfully pass the exam, they receive a certificate with which they can apply for recognition of the course within the framework of ERASMUS+ at their home university. The course is worth 5 ECTS.
And this is how it works:
- If you are a student and are interested in obtaining a certificate, you need to register and take a written online (multiple choice) test under piotr.mederski@up.poznan.pl
- The part of the Technodiversity course, which will be tested, includes the lectures from A to F. You should have learned these modules before you make the test.
- Examination dates are twice a year, last Friday of May at 9.00 am and last Friday of Nov 9.00 am (90 minutes).
- The test must be made under supervision of a teacher in your university. Please contact your local university teacher to provide suitable conditions in a university room to take test.
- The university teacher is obliged to check your identity, make a list of the students participating and send it to Poznań University of Life Sciences piotr.mederski@up.poznan.pl
- There are 20 questions in the test that will be selected randomly out of 40. All questions are of the same weigh and the same score.
- During the test, you are allowed to use all tools including, of course, the Technodiversity platform.
- Minimum 50 % of right answers must be given to pass the exam.
- When the test is completed, you are asked to create and download an initial copy of an electronic certificate (pdf file). Please send this copy of electronic certificate together with your postal address to Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) office to apply for hard copy of the certificate to piotr.mederski@up.poznan.pl
- The hard copy of certificate will be sent back to you within one month after date of taking test.
- Hand over this certificate to your university for recognition.
We wish you a good success!
